It has been QUITE a year.....to say the least. I am much more comfortable in my own skin now, more comfortable than I have ever been in my whole life.
I find myself quoting so many things that I have learned here, on this site, to other people when doing by ministry. You all have helped me understand alcoholism so much better and be patient with others and myself while dealing with it. I am truly GRATEFUL for being an alcoholic and think that I am better do my life's work because of it and the things I have learned as I am recovering from it. Thanks again and I wish you all the deep sense of inner peace that I feel today as I celebrate this 1 year anniversary.
I'm so proud of you princess. I love how you put GRATEFUL, as I feel so many people don't take the opportunity to do the self work that WE do on ourselves as alcoholics/addicts. So many people walk around blinkered in this life wearing their daily masks. For me being an addict has given me the opportunity to release all the shame and guilt from my past that has been entwined around my spirit and kept me blocked from my spiritual growth.

A massive well done Evie. You must be feeling amazing and I truly hope you are.
