    Thanks For The Memories!!!

Thanks for the memories. This past year has been an incredible learning experience for me. I first joined MWO in Dec 07 and was in deep need of help to find a way to stop my self destructive pattern of binge drinking. I had been searching and finally was guided to this web site. I read the MWO book and ordered the supplements but didn't put much effort behind my recovery. I was really out of control Then last May 14th I finally had enough and reached out. Thank GOD Besty and several other wonderful members where here to pick me up and get me on the path towards real HEALING from the disease of alcoholism. Over this years time I feel honored that you all have shared your successes and your failures with me. You have allowed me to learn from you. I know that I am much better prepared to go out and live the rest of my life without the need to hide at the bottom of a bottle and a big part of that is because of the coping skills I have learned right here on this web site. I just want to say a deep heart felt THANK YOU to each and everyone of you for being there for me and for continuing to be there for each other . God Bless you and I wish you ALL the JOY and Magic that this wonderful world has to offer. I made a commitment to myself to visit this site daily for one year a I have done that on every day that I have had inter-net access. Now that my year is up I won't be around as much but will stop by from time to time to say HELLO, but you will be forever in my PRAYERS.

Evie Lou your example of checking into MWO every day should be noted for everyone who is serious about getting and staying sober. Sometimes nothing helps more than just a friendly chat. Well done and stay in touch. xo Beth
