    Army Thread May 17th

Good Morning Army, It is my first time to start the army thread, I am so chuffed. I guess sleepy heads are still in bed, perhaps you had better stay there a little longer, particularly if your weather is anything like here raining cats and dogs. Think I will dodge the drops and go for a walk, anyone else like walking in the rain. All in all I am in good spirits this morning great to be alive and well.

Happy Sunday, Irish, Mario, Cy and Bdd, It sure isn't raining here in the land of SUNSHINE........LOL
I got up early and had a lovely walk (so glad the spidey bite is healing enough so that I can exercise again). Filled brekkie baskets and then made a big plate of scrambled eggs with a side of crispy bacon for Hubbies "low Carb" diet. That sure doesn't look like diet food to me ??? But if that's what he wants to eat, that's what I shall cook !!!
The garden is growing along so beautifully and I am wondering if my neighbors will be able to keep it alive during my many summer travels. I sit out there in the evening and the fragrance from the flowers is just magical. I LOVE all the little pleasures the being sober gives you. Things that were there before but lost in the alcoholic haze...NEVER AGAIN !!!...........NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Morning irish, cy, mario, bdd!

Supposed to rain all day here too. But I have two movies and indoor things to do. I really don't like to walk in the rain. I'll give it a try though. After all, I like beets now :H

Hi Irish,Cym, Bdd, Mario, Evie, Greenie Limers,
Sorry about the wank weather in the UK....come right over to my house and we can lay in my backyard in the bright sun. It is SO nice here and will reach 80F today at the high. Cy, get some solid rest tdy to get rid of that "man flu". Scrambled eggs sounds wonderful, but I am counting calories so I need to steer clear of bacon. I don't have any in the house anyway- yoghurt for me. I plan a nice Sunday- we go to friend's house for a BBQ and I will fit my exercise into the day sometime as well.

Evie, do you have nice weather today?

                Good Morning folks.
I'm in a great mood today. No special reason I just am.
I watched the Eurovision song contest last night. Cheesy as hell but it's been an institution for so many years, I feel obliged to watch it...or maybe watching it qualifies you to be placed in an institution.
Anyway, just a quick visit this morning. I'm off for a walk today and then making a nice big Sunday lunch. The weather's great too. What more could I ask for ???

                        Limers,
A Norwegian won....they keep playing it here on Headline News-CNN. I need to change the channel; they repeat the news every 1/2 hour and I have heard the same thing over and over. I am really a ditz.

President Obama is scheduled to speak to the graduating class at Notre Dame (by invitation); there is a huge protest (19 were already arrested) because of his stance on abortion. It is ridiculous because he was invited to speak in the first place! I guess it will be sometime this afternoon. Can't people just learn to "get along"?

Preakness is running today.....anyone planning to fit that 2 minutes into their schedule today? I love watching those and I totally spaced off the Kentucky Derby this year.
