Didn't get a chance to log on yesterday - brunching & afternoon teaing with Aunties etc. It's an a amazing morning here...mist lying low on the harbour.

I see my mate Pan has checked in and is AF/NF regardless of the conflict here...I knew she'd do it. Pls jump back in Pan.....

Good luck with your move Angel, I hope it all goes well for you, do you know anyone where you are moving too? and what day do you move?
Well I am in a fantastic mood today, I have even danced around my living room singing at the top of my voice and my youngest now thinks I have gone mad! although I feels sorry for my neighbours as I cant sing to save my life!
I went into to the chat room for a little while this morning as a friend who I met through MWO and lives in a different country was on here the same time as me so we thought we would chat together, but it was a bit busy on there does anyong know if you can go into a private chat room if so how do you do it. Although it was great to see so many people chatting but I could'nt keep up with everyone. I suppoes it get easier the more times you go on there.
Pan come and chat to us, you know we love you here.
Ezz I think your wish will be comming true as after today we are meant to get rain rain and more rain all week!!!! I hate the rain.

morning all.

Attended the worst organised kids party yesterday afternoon, amazing how blase some people can be when responsible for others kids. Did body attack this morning to get the aggression out.

Angel good luck with the move. G, good luck with the tip, I hear that they sell some bargains there too in the second hand shop.

Ronnie, I know you hate rain, so do I, but think of how bad you will feel when your veggie bills increase. I hope the rain isn't too late for the farmers. But you must be feeling really great now.

I think this is day 15 for me.

Well the rains just arrived here again...
Ronnie - great to hear you're in such good spirits!!! I'm moving back to Sydney, where I'm from, so my family & most of our friends are there. Friends = good, Family = sometimes v.stressful!!! We go on Saturday but our house gets packed up on Wed and I think I won't have a computer after tomorrow (this one goes back to Mr Cakes' work)
I find chat moves really fast too sometimes..not sure about the private room...maybe you have to be a subscriber for that I think.

Ezz - you're doing so great, and your idea of just going about it with no fuss is working...I'm not so much into counting the days either after the first few.
The last kids party I went to was held at a place with a bar...lots of the parents were drinking. Interesting for a 5th birthday...

Things been busy here so I'm not posting much, but just had a spare half hour to catch up. Need to go and make tea now ......... (how can I make last night's vegie soup interesting so it doesn't seem like leftovers ?????!!!!)

if it is any consolation I didn't get to the Monet exhibition either! This is unforgiveable as we drive past it every day. I fact as we drove past it this morning I said to uncle Mame "This is terrible - we still haven't been and we must make time next weekend before it finishes" only to see the "Finishes 17 May" sign as we sped past ........

The only consolation I have is that nothing could be better than my memories of The Orangerie in Paris, where I spent a full November afternoon in 1989 just sitting and looking and having the whole place to myself. Te Papa was apparently very full and noisy yesterday and I wouldn't have enjoyed it like that!

Mum & Dad gave me a gorgeous print of 'Lady in the fields with poplars' or something like that...so pretty. And you're right, galleries aren't much fun when they're chocker.
Your afternoon in Paris sounds lovely, inspiring!
Voguefit...that's sooo great. Doesn't matter what the weather does as long as we keep the calm within ;-)

Ah..the tip. Yes Ezz, a bargain or 2 to be sure. I was thrilled when 2 oversized bulldozer's almost brushed past each side of my truck, whilst unloading. The big machines, the roar of the engines, the crunch of the huge steel wheels (no tyres), ahhhh....almost shot me load.
