    The Next Day, Thursday 21st May

    WHOPPEE!!!! This is the first time I have started this thread.
    Well Hello and welcome to everyone, wherever you are!!!
    I am feeling great today although the weather here has changed for the worst, hope you are happy now Ezz (only joking) but my god did it pour down last night or what????
    Well my day consists of emptying kitchen cupboards ready for hubby to make some more mess but I know the end result will be lovely as he is a very handy man.

    morning ronnie and all to come.

    I have been keeping a low profile lately, for some reason my ultra fast broadband has slowed to dial-up in the last few weeks. Maybe though I am killing my download allowance househunting.

    Got to love rain, but right now I am trying to spot the leaks in my house. I have found 2 at the moment, both in the extension. The 100 year old bit is nice and dry, they certainly knew how to build houses then.

    What day are you on now Ronnie?

        Hey... can I join in here? It is "officially" the next day here too!

        Ronnie... sounds like a lot of trying to just relax and go with the dust!

        I'm doing good.. actually headed to bed as I have to do the early morning routine in the a.m.

        I am in the midst of the severe flooding... see the weatherchannel! But it is kind of fun... we are getting much needed rain and I have a family of ducks who have taken up in my back yard!

            Yes Pan its the first time that I had managed to start it, so it did make my day, thanks
            Well the rain & wind have really got up here, I think we are having some of your weather Pan, would you like it back!!!
            I have just got in from getting my 2 ovens, a cook stove & a range hood so its all a bit exciting ffor me, plus I have just ordered my youngest boy a new bed which gets delivered on Tuesday so that means I am well & truly skint!!!!
            Well I am going to watch my program on TV "Im a celebraty get me out of here" (sorry wrong spelling) and if hubby is'nt on computer I will check in later

                  Hi Pan :-)

                  And everyone else!

                  Had 8 days AF under my belt and felt truly on top of things ie: Happy, confident and enjoying everything!

                  But have been drunk for the last two nights (2 bottles of wine each night)

                  I am currently on the last glass of a bottle of wine (and feel totally sober, which is a worry)

                  There is no more alcohol in the house, so I figure hanging out here is a much better option than a walk to the bottle shop!

                  I only managed 8 days AF with the help of Diazepam (Valium)

                  Am considering trying Campral, as it reads the best as far as side affects go..

                  Wondering if anyone has tried it and how they went?

                  Hope you are sober and happy xxx

                        Dave, I'm struggling too. I can't believe I went 80 days sober, went on a binge, got my act together and still went out and bought more wine. But, I am not giving up. I was too happy sober to keep drinking. It's a pothole in the road. A pothole can be fixed.

                          Dave, seriously, you do not want to keep taking benzos. Take it from me. Very bad and harder I think to get off than the wine.
