My daughter was Gothy for a while.
She's got about six tattoos. The latest a great big one across her shoulder and down her arm. She'll look lovely when she's 60.

Seriously, all to their own, but as I said, in my generation, they are trying to hide tatts and get rid of them. Are you all mad? Remember this conversation in the years to come please. Not that there is anything wrong with your tatts while you are young. But, flesh sags and tatts go the same way.

Oney, my alcoholic father and I battled all my life. He died many years ago and you know what? I didn't even want to go to his funeral. I did, but I did it only for my mother.

I was coming back from work in the van one night and Paula, my daughter was coming out of the hairdressers and her hair was bright white and she'd her new tattoo on show. There's an older guy who didn't know her working with us at the time and he says." Look at the state of that. Who does she think she's kidding? What a way to walk about about town."
I told him she was my daughter and he didn't believe me until my boss pulled over and we gave her a run up the road. He was mortified. He went all colours.:H

My alcoholic mother and I didn't get on for years either. She was awful to me and my then wife.
Fortunately we got some sort of relationship back before she died.

Well, Pops, I'm glad you got that relationship back. Death is so final, but I don't think I could have saved the relationship with my father. He stole from me.

That's sad Pan.
My mother was evil when she drank.
She only started behaving when she was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and spent the last three years of her life trying hard to get her family back. She has five children and one of my brothers still hates her to this day.
