Oh wow, I am sorry Zenners...were they jealous do you think? Some mates eh?
Oftentimes I think spouses like their other halves to be dependent on them which of course when we are drinking we are....
Maybe she knows that too and that stops her from helping herself?

Yes, I can understand that. I would not expect Rich to discuss my drinking with anyone other than me....and especially not in a bitchy way...
How cruel...what a knob her hubby is...is he playing away?

Well, one of the things I have learnt in my sobriety is that I have no control over other people or situations. I used to try my damnedest and then when it didnt work I would get pissed. Its really hard but you need to take a step back if its really sending you down.

Yeah, thats another lesson too, its learning what we can put up with and what we actually enjoy. I never really knew what I enjoyed or not, I just did stuff mainly because I felt that I "should" being sober I am much more choosy about who I spend my time with.

                                Zenners,
I remember the lush foliage I could grow while in Florida....succulents went wild almost. Here we have so much cold weather that I have to pay close attention to what goes in the ground. I have some of Ruby's seeds that are sprouting and will do well thru the summer but prob won't survive the winter. I am anxiously awaiting their growth...they are still little sprouts coming slowly out of the ground.
