The problem is starts, that when I do housework the little voices come flooding back into my head, & the housework really needs doing due to hubby knocking down cuboards ect. but I am spreading it over a week and just doing a room or two at a time so hopefully I can get through it with no hassels!!!!

And welcome back Angel!

I don't blame you for drinking too much wine after your move and especially staying with your Folks!

No doubt that the whole of this last week has been doing your head in!

Well done on starting the thread again Ronnie... It was meant to be my job, as per Pan and My 7 day AF agreement..

I have been drunk every night ( except day one) and Pan has disappeared altogether!

Great teamwork!

I will of course put another plan of sobriety together to start in a day or two.. I'm not giving up..

Sometimes I just wonder how many tries I'll have to have before I succeed..

Hope everyone is sober and happy..

I truly don't want to keep doing what I am doing to myself, I really need to sort it out..

I am however positive and determined :-)

Yep, I've learned a lot about my drinking habits, triggers and my own denied insecurities over the last 12 months...

I'm no Hippie but have found meditation for 30 minutes everyday is a great help. as is the gym, running and socializing (even when I don't feel like it)

I am single and live alone, so think boredom is a big factor... I can fix that of course but not when I'm drunk of an evening and hungover all day, need to break my pattern, in order to start a new one...

Yep, i am 'on top of it' at the mo', and going along great gun's, so i'm happy to jump in somewhere, and give my 2 cents worth, but only from personal experience, and if that helps someone, great. And i also know, that change can only come from ourselves. A big key to all this for me, is our thinking, which is something i usually babble on about, because it really is a door. The physical stuff is hard, but easier, and quickly over, usually, in comparison.
