hello again ,kitty 72 you ponder your drinking too much,we do it when we drink,and when were sober,something ive learned the last while,when i drank ,b4,id beat me up,not only that ,people around me did the same,then you get stress,stress builds to anxiety,and at one time it could of even lead to death,almost,to me thats bottoming out,i did the same at meetings,the last 10 years,i cant seem to find the social aspect of AA,i no the program well,but even the people who wrote the book,say its not for all,once you realise that and the other ways of controlling your drinking,you will find peace within yourself,whether you totally stop or moderate,you have to get control of how your brain functions,lets face it,if your shit face,its very hard to have control,took me 40 years,i wish you well,gycoComment

Hi all.
Picked Erin and her sister up after I went to my meeting and we went to Barry Island. Its a dump, but you can walk to the cliff edge and watch the sea. The kids were knackered cause they had been in Cornwall all weekend, so we didnt stay long. Nice to get some sea air though.
Kitt...Dont worry about not speaking. You werent the only one, and there are many meetings I just sit and listen. Its just as important to listen than share.
My AA friend is pissed again today. You try not to let it affect you, but its kinda hard sometimes, cause ive been there so many times.
