    I do know how that feels, just make sure you keep talking about it. Can your sponsor support you if you get into difficulties or start to feel really bad about the whole thing?

        Oh, my, Cym! How have you responded to him? Do let your sponsor know the situation, as your sobriety is more important than anything thing else today. Your friend has a choice, and does not seem ready to make the right one.

          Good, I find there is nothing worse than taking the burden of worry on your own. I was like that about someone here for a time and it REALLY affected me. Once I started talking about it, it kind of helped a bit...

            In a positive way, it does make me think about how my alcoholism effected my family and friends. This person doesnt seem to have any close family or friends, and lives by themselves.
            Rubes. I just said I couldnt, and tried to say to go to bed and sleep for a bit, but they wouldnt listen.
            Right, im off to enjoy some sun!!

              You know yourself, Cym, the choice comes entirely from within. We can want to change because we know its right, to please those around us, because it would be easier to get along, but until its what we actually DESIRE completely, in our heart, its almost impossible to succeed.

                    I hope that you are not right about only being able to do one thing at a time, my dear friend.
                    I am all showered and dressed for my TWO appointments.
                    One with a NEW dentist and the second one is with my lawyer to talk about suing my old Dentist who did the WRONG TOOTH..or should I saw TEETH !!!! He ground down two perfectly good teeth on the wrong side of my mouth to put a bridge that I didn't ask for in my mouth. Why didn't I know he was working on the wrong side.............I AM DYSLEXIC...have been ALL MY LIFE .
                    He was a brand new Dentist, just out of school and didn't follow "treatment plan" .....also turned out he was the man who I had called the cops on because his dog was barking and keeping our guests awake .....so he killed my cat (St. Patrick) some of you will remember him and his kids. turned out ....he was MY DENTIST......who is now being SUED.
                    WISH ME LUCK !!!! ..........And pray for me.....I will surly need it today !!!
                    Anyone who read ALL OF THIS.......THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A GOOD FRIEND !!!!!!
