Hope all turns out OK Wish.

Ive got a big problem with someone in AA, basically she and I had a text exchange last night where she basically told me that because I am still drinking now and then, she feels I should stop going to meetings. I was having a nice (and sober!) evening up until that point and then I saw *RED* I told this sick individual to never contact me again, how dare she!

This morning I just felt that it was all shit and I shouldnt bother but I spoke to someone from AA who tells it like it is and she in her own endearing 'tell them all to f off' way sorted me out LOL.

Ive had nearly 2 weeks off from work (my last day was last Tues) I cant believe it's almost over, but managed to get a lot done- I run a small business as well as working and cos of one thing and another hadnt done my accounts since last June (Its OK I have until 31.01.2010 to file April 08-April09's accounts) but Im done through November now and hope to finish before I return to the hell hole

Hi kitty.
Many people go to meetings who still drink. That's why a lot of them go. We all have our reasons and nobody should be stopping anyone else from going and getting the help that AA is all about.
I wouldn't let her worry you.

Maybe she thinks Im a bad influence? LOL but hey you are right Pops and Wish, plenty of people who have been a long time sober have told me (Esp since Ive been struggling with the whole AA thing) that they were drinking for up to a year in some cases when they first came in and then finally 'the penny dropped'. That's what Im hoping for, Im drinking a lot less anyway which is good.

I actually shocked myself this morning, I didnt wake up thinking about W as I usually do LOL!!Maybe I finally got him out of my system now.... or maybe cos I was thinking 'Bloody AA bint!' instead? Ah well, it's all good. I did my 'drama queen, get pissed and cry over what might have been with W' thing on Tuesday night and maybe that's all that was needed haha!!

My dad is back from holiday! Yaaaaay! Looking forward to seeing him. He's 78, my mum died 9 mths ago and this is his 3rd solo holiday since then. Bless him.
