Terribly sorry to have offended you...unregistered and unregistered. yes you are correct this is a forum for people with alcohol related problems...but we also form friendships and consequently have conversations which are not alcohol realated...which is also very supportive to those of us who are feeling patiularly alone. This board is not for us to just air out views on alcohol...its about the symptoms, the stresses we have in our life and basicaly building up relationships with each other so that when we do wanna talk about a serious alcohol realated issue we feel comfortable enough to do so. I would suggest that before you start criticising us you at least give yourselves names and try to maybe chat to of few of us rather than putting us down, if that is not an option for you then i wouild suggest you find somewhere else to vent your anger because it certainly shouldnt be at us. i personaly found your comments very rude.... so i do appologise for daring to have a normal conversation on an alcohol web site...how dare i!!!! I think youll find if you read a lot of the other posts on this site that we all have daily conversations about our lives and situations as well as our struggles with alcohol...this does not however affect our views on alcohol and the fact that we all have problems with it. I can also assure you that we do take this programm very seriously, and would suggest that you take a more open minded appoach as the rest of us do. Many thanks....beacause we are all struggling and we are all floudering.....and we all support eachother in which ever way we find the most helpfull.... whether it be about mundane day to day tasks or the huge alcohol binge we had last night....this is how friendships and trust are formedAt least"Every passing minute is a chance to turn it all around"...Penelope Cruz...Vanilla SkyComment

I think this post is going down a slippery slope and the important thing to remember about support is that it is different for everyone. While some have already formed friendships and are very open about daily things, others may not be so comfortable reading what appear to be private conversations between two people.
Offenses and issues aside, in my opinion it is best to err on the side of caution so that EVERYONE feels welcome and is able to get the help and information that they deserve.
I do apologize if this offends anyone but this is my opinion and I would hate to see newcomers or anyone leave because they are getting the wrong impression here.Comment

I cant see how its distracting....Its simple enough,just dont read it.There are other conversations floating around on these boards not alcahol related so why pick on this one?
This might not be your cup of tea but there is a variety of people here and i dont think its fair to single people out.
