Any Sims players? Need help!

Hey y'all. I hope all is well with everyone. I'm coming up on 6 months AF! I don't post much anymore -- but I'm trying to figure out something on this damn Sims game and need help!

I gave my daughter the Complete Collection (original Sims with all the expansion packs) for her b-day. I'd like to play it too, but without interfering with her Sims people or neighborhood or whatever. Can two players play the game independent of each other (in one computer)??

It's been a while since I played and my daughter who would know is on a sleepover. What I can tell you is that the game is highly addictive and you may want to seek help now. SA. Sims Anonomous...I can't spell. I wish you well. I hear the men can get pregant now a days!
