That's right Patty, I'm so sorry I neglected to mention your friend Lucy who lost her battle. She is on the list. Now I have several people to run this race for who have struggled with these diseases. Some have won, in Patty's friend's case, very sadly some have lost.
For those still fighting, we still fight for them.

Lucky's dad. Added to the list. I have about enough people with Leukemia Lymphoma to honor for about every 2 miles. That's lots of fuel. wow.

oh! then there are our survivors like Allie's mom and people like my brother in law's brother and Marcie's brother in law who are going thru it RIGHT NOW. Pray, hope, contribute as you have.

I think I need to make a little card with everyone's names. Perhaps even dedicate miles to each person. You guys can't believe the clock and mind games I play with myself when the distance is so far!

I'm doing it. Gonna dedicate miles to each individual person. I even get a tracking device, so I can give a cell phone # (probably Gina, if that's ok), and they track where I'm at on the course. What I can do is say "mile 1 is for so-and-so...". So right now, I think I have about 6 honorees. Anyone else?? Please add. I'd be HONORED to run a mile for your loved one.

You guys did this! And there are a lot of newbies that probably visit the mods board and go "is she EVER gonna SHUT UP about this dang RUNNING?????
OK, after Sunday, I'll shut up! After I thank everyone one last time. It has been hugely immensely instrumental in my recovery to have this goal, and everyone who wrote on this thread contributed to an incredible goal.

I got a card from a girlfriend of mine today that read:

I think that is pretty applicable here and to all of us!
Keep at it everyone!
