Nope no running yet, I am still in pain from it all. I am not sure why, but running in a race is so much harder than just on your own. The pressure to keep going, dodging others really took it out of me. I broke my leg very badly a few years ago and where it broke it has been swelling up since the race. I want to wait until that calms down before putting more pressure on it.Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

Hiya Betts, its lovely to see you!!! And you are not too slow all porridge ideas are gratefully received!
I have just been sticking it up in the air at every opportunity. I think the nerves are a bit damaged in it as it is numb in places. I will just rest it for a while and then run again but short distances to start.Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

Zen I was a salt and milk person for a while. Also liked a spoon of goosberry jam sometimes but since I discovered small bits of dried friut thats the one for me.
Hi SB tropical porridge now that sounds worth trying.

Anyhoo, am off to buy enough beef to feed 6 blokes and me. I foolishly volunteered to make Beef Stew for all the homesick Brit blokes who are working for Mr Sweats. Yorkshire Puds as well. As long as they're quiet for the Grand Prix I'll be ok....the blokes not the Puds
