No actually pops I am very proud of myself, this is the first time I have had pain and not reached for the codeine, a big thing for me. And it makes me happy. Bring it on :-)

Good for you starty I try and take as little of that kind of thing as I can aswell. I made an exception with Antabuse but the benefits are tremendous. I'm really confident that I could do without it now. In fact I know I could, but I've been advised to keep taking them so I will.

That's great starty!! I was reading that and wondering about the painkillers. Good on ya! Can you rub a bit of clove on there? Colloidal silver drops would help it heal. You can also grind up asprin and make a paste and hold it on there - will ltase like crap but you can rinse it out.

Starty, the thing about the tea tree oil is it will coat your mouth and it'll be a miracle if you don't puke. I wouldn't do it. You'll never get the taste out like you can the asprin. Salt water is an excellent idea.
