Thanks folks,

Things are just falling into place.
I read a while ago that if I put the right causes in place then the desired effects usually follow, so I tried it and it's working.
I used to just sort of fall into whatever situations were presented. Now I'm trying to create these situation myself.

There was a woman at the zoo in an electric wheelchair who was (I don't know the right word) quadraplegic maybe? She was hunched over in her chair with her head turned sideways in a seemingly fixed position but could manage the buttons on the right handed controls. You couldn't really see her face. I kinda wanted to give her company but didn't know what to do or if I'd be intruding. I thought about "Soul's Plan" and what a brave person she must be. I think about that book all the time even though I haven't even read it. The concept is fascinating to me. I thought about it when I looked at all the people at the zoo, listening to conversations, watching interactions. Am I a wierdo?
