Goodmorning/afternoon/evening all hope ur all well, glad to see everyones in a positive frame of mind today. Day 15 for me today, H.A.P.P.Y to have made it past the 2 week mark.

Feeling a bit lack lustre today, energy levels are low. Also suffering with an unidentified pain in my side that has been nagging at me the past 6 wks. The doctors are baffled and have referred me for a scan, thankfully I can go private so instead of wating 7months (yes 7 months!!!) on the HSE. I am going in on Friday. Hopefully they will diagnose and I'll get the problem sorted ASAP.

Sooo glad my head is clear and I feel in a better place emotionally. On my last binge I was in so much pain and I convinced myself I was practically dieing. So irrational.....I even phoned the doctor half cut ranting about going to hospital (major cringe :blush. Of course my ailment was also another reason to drink - because of the worry of it! Anyway its getting sorted so thats a positive step

Have a happy and positive day fellow MYOters

                            Aussie aussie aussie...............oi oi oi

lol just reading through your lessons in 'Auzzisms' and decided to google the most popular sayings, this is my fav :-

                            You flaming mongrel!
Translation: Bloody drongo, bloody idiot, bloody bastard... you get the idea.
This came from a character on Home & Away (soapie tv show) called Alf Stuart. He had many more classic sayings including "Bob's your uncle" and "oh flaming Ailsa!" It was refreshing to see a real Aussie on TV instead of the networks just duplicating American characters. Unfortunately we've lost these types of characters as the younger audiences have begun losing the great Australian culture and embracing the throw-away glamour-pushed American culture.

Good ould Alf.........dont make em like they used to eh! zwink:
