    Army Thread 9th June

Is it called Dragons Tail because it has lots of long twisty sections of country road?
I have been biking for nearly 30 yrs now and still love it when everything comes together.
The other side of the coin was coming off a couple of times while under the influence, something I am not proud of. But that was a long time ago.

Yes, can't remember the exact ratio, but something like 200 curves in 5 miles, I'll check it for you. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun to ride, but you BETTER be sober! We have a cabin about 2 hours from there.

Hi Starty, a little cat nap is always a bonus
Was in grand form earlier till I ripped a 3 inch gash down my calf climbing over barbed wire fence to get the dogs ball back. Not too deep so its ok, just stinging.
Did/do you have a motorbike too then?
Used to ride seven day a week all year round in all weathers but getting too old for the rough so purely a fair weather biker these days.

Oh wow, I have done that with barbed wire, its does sting.
I remember once my daft dog Yogi decided to jump a barbed wire fence and he ripped his tum open, miles from anywhere....horrible.

My hubs had bikes, I did a "crash" course once, but failed my test, I decided it wasnt really for me :-)
Yes in the old days(get me :-)) that was our mode of transport.
Coming off on gravel was my worst memory. I took all my jeans out and half the skin on my bum. I told my mum I had fallen down some stairs and she believed me!!!! I wasnt allowed to go on bikes...
