Hope everybody has a great day today. Goodness it's cold here today and it takes me awhile to climatise to winter.
Bridget, I love water in winter it tastes nicer to me and agree with pan......eat the chocolate at least it wont kill you!
My parents were up my place last weekend and I agree with everybody here as my mum is a great help to me when she is around.

Hi Pan!

Bridget - go with the chocolate, and sorry to teall you it took a couple of weeks for me to start looking healthier, but I think its different for everyone.

Am off to make up the bed in the 'guest room' poor Teen one gets turfed out to the little room with cranky aircon and the nest full of tweeting birds in the wall. Went in there this morning and it has that ripe Teen smell already. Lovely.

I did my Yoga already and have had 2 portions of fruit so the 'Better Betty' plan is officially launched.It''s all about me me me Lol!

Will probably pop in again as I can't settle to do anything else, am looking forward to my visitors arriving!

Bridge, it sometimes does take a while to feel and look better, your bod is probably in a bit of a state of shock going without the booze at the mo...make sure you look after yourself and give yourself a bit of time to adjust. You are doing great!

Betts, yes I love the Idea of a Better Betty campaign!! And of course its all about you, who else would it be about :-)

Pan, its great to see you, we miss you but understand the 'puter is a bit of a trigger for you right now. Hows it going (if you pop in again of course)

Just doing the daily check-in - bloody freezing down here - thank dog I have plenty of fire wood. I'm starting to google Queensland holidays ... a week near Cairns round about September might just be in order.

Good afternoon all :-)

Was hoping to beat you on here Starts!

Didn't say hello this Morning as I slept in a little (I start work at 7:30am)

Have just gotten home and having a coffee, cranked the heater, as it's about 8C outside and will be off for a little Nanna Nap before I try to brave the cold and go to the gym (which isn't looking hopeful)

I do have a 250 litre fish tank that needs half the water changed and will keep working on a classical guitar piece I am learning, so will at least do something constructive..

Day 3 and feeling knackered and a bit anxious (to be expected)

Didn't get much sleep last night until I took half a valium at half two in the morning..

Night 3 is usually sweaty night, so I'll take a towel with me..lol

Hope everyone is having a great day, chat to you all later..

And I'll see what I can do about starting the thread Tomorrow Ronnie :-P

Hi all...in total agreement, it's cold in Sinny Town so it must be freezing down in Mexico!!!
I've been to the gym today...was great. Love your plan Bets, I'm gearing up for 30 days in July and the slimmer/healthier me is a good motivator.
My kids are driving me INSANE...I'm off to read yesterdays risqu? thread. Nothing like a bit of smut in the afternoon.

Wavey, I think you are doing great Day 3 Wow, just keep yourself busy, If you need something to do, well I have a load of looking up on the net for cheap ski-ing holidays if you fancy it :H
I must admit its very hard to find something nice & cheap these days, it would'nt normally bother me but as we are renavating the house and hubbies business is trying to get off the ground then I have got to go cheap otherwise I have no chance of him even thinking about it.
Id still rather a week on the beach in the sun but I know the kids would love the snow and I have more of a chance to get away as hubby likes ski-ing
Well id better go as i have got to pick the kids up from school
