      Prozac has such a long half life, that if you are on 20mg a day and stop, you shouldn't notice much until you become depressed again 6 weeks later...If that happens..

      You might get some mild "electric zaps" in your head, feel tired and or a little anxious..

      But really, if you taper your dose, you'll have no probs....Best SSRI to come off :-)

        If you are like me (and again, I've read threads of yours, that you don't know about)

        You started taking antidepressants because you were so fucked on Booze...

        Trying to medicate your screwed alcoholic brain with drugs, doesn't work...

        I know...

          I started tapering down in April to mid may from 40mg, quit totally after 6 weeks and now getting the zaps, some tiredness and starting to "feel" again. Not sure I like that much :-)

              If you feel too Zappy, or too shite, take one 20mg tablet...Will stave off the withdrawal for a few days...it's recomended.. If you need to take one 20mg tablet every 3 days to stop the zaps, it's fine...just taper it from there...No hurry :-)
