I woke up this morning when my neighbour put her radio on full blat (luckily they only come weekends!) and the song playing was my ex (he was a singer) who died last year also from alcohol related illnesses.
It saddens me terribly that many of these people could have been saved with the right information/meds.

I was sick last night with a stomach bug so I went to bed early, still feeling pretty crappy and weak tho.Kids are doing my head in and Rob is in his mothers after the gig last night. But anyway.
Someone posted on the Open University forum that there has been technical difficulties and the assignments will not be marked or posted for 10 days,so i am pissed off with that.
I also got a very distressing mail from Losty, I really do not like people being abused when I am not here.....I won't stand for it.

Hi all. Very sorry to hear that Marbella. I am a musician, and sadly, a couple of colleagues are battling alcoholism, and associated problems, and a couple we have lost to it. I think i got out just in time, but i could've easily gone the other way. Thankfully all's well. It really is a slow death over many years, and the anaesthetic qualities can mask what's gradually happening, in my case anyway.
