I have been thinking about that, but believe it or not hubby & me work as a team and we have to both agree (although it can be a pain at times) but if I just go ahead a book a holiday then he will spend even more money on something stupid!!!!!

Ronnie it must be frustrating but as you say no point in starting tit for tat. Have you tried asking him where he wants to go and give him the option of organising it before a certain date?

KTAB He is very busy at the moment and we are also renervating the house so in his eyes all the money should go into the house, which really he is right but it would be lovely for us all to have a family holiday, all it will mean is that a certain bit of the house will take a month longer to complete thats all, plus he is trying to get his business up and running but I also think the break would do him the world of good as well, as he is a work acholic
