I've gotta get my arse in gear. After family reunion Sat, I was descended on by family yest, and for the first time my (step)g-grandchild came to visit, with son & family, and L-O-V-E-D the pool, at 6 months. Then he went to sleep in my arms, something they say he DOES NOT do. Youngest g'daughter stayed till 9:00 PM. Next 15-y/o called and said she, 11 y/o, and 2 friends were going to cabin with me t'morrow, so there goes my rest. Have my work cut out for today!

Well I had a long post I lost. Anyway, Hubs is obsessed, or addicted to working, and its driving me nuts. All going to come to a head soon. Not to worry, friends, I'll just go to one of my houses and he'll start to realize AGAIN I'm not invincible!

I was actually hoping to take some absolute quiet time to go and paint. Now, I have FOUR teens going with me. There is one caveat to them going with me: I don't clean up for them, entertain for them, or feed on demand. I supply food, they cook it and clean it up, they clean their rooms. Oh well, SIL is coming to fish w/ my lil boys (Dubbie & Jack) so he can take charge of them all for at least a day! We're going to the fish hatchery one day, and I'm taking them to the base of the the tallest mountain trail and putting their butts out one day, so they should have plenty to do. Plus we have mountain streams to swim in non-stop, an outdoor fireplace and a firepit, so the motto for this week is "MIMI DON'T WAIT ON NOBODY!!"

Ok, obtuse drop in from Betty. Did I tell everyone we were looking after a little bat that crash landed on the Terrace?

Kept it a week, fed it, made sure it could fly, released it last night, it flew away.........tonight its back. It thinks Mr Sweats is its Dad, stops squeaking when he goes near it. Oh dear. I suppose we'll just have to keep launching it and hope it makes some bat friends.

My Love Letter To Gyco: Gy, you always seem to feel you have to apologize for something, from your typing to your comments. Don't you know we are CA-RAZYY about you here, all of us?!?!?!?! I know there has been a time or two when someone has taken a comment from you the wrong way, but for almost a year, I have loved reading anything you post, and feel your heart is ALWAYS in the right place. Many people don't realize how much you have suffered physically. And your AL is SO much in the past, plus whatever you did to people, we didn't suffer the effects, so, just left us love and appreciate you, OK. I know anytime I have a post with you, it puts a smile on my face. Remember, I used to call you my Poet Friend?? So come on, you handsome devil, hold your head up and give us girls a thrill each day. Tell us how your doing and how your feeling. We love you, and miss you SO much when your gone!
