KT, we have just had a quote for a new roof for our current house...we asked the builder if he could put a proper British roof on, not just shingle...he nearly fell over laughing...he said the house would collapse under the weight...go figure!

Wow that doesnt inspire confidence in the quality of whats built in the rest of the house.
