    I'm feeling so much better

I'm pretty much brand new here (although I've been lurking for awhile.)

Already I've received support here that's helped me tremendously. I'm only on Day 5 AF, but I'm feeling more energetic and more clear headed already. Last night I was pretty tempted to have a drink, but I came here, read, and lurked in the chat room. I had a Diet Cream Soda on the rocks instead, and I made it through the temptation just fine. Today I'm pretty darned happy about that.

Just wanted to say thanks, and hopefully I'll get to hang around with y'all a lot in the near future.

                  Hi NT . . . .

A Job Well Done ~ NotThirsty,

Cream soda, yummmmm, I haven't had that in forever - it's on my grocery list to purchase tomorrow. In the meantime, I have lots of popsciles that fit the bill.

Please come back as much as possible, this is a great place to pass time, learn lots and get inspiration and support.

Best of the best to you and everyone . . . :l

Good for you. Every day that I don't drink, I do thank myself in the morning after with having no hangovers. Day 3 here and I am doing great!
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                      Keep up the good work!
Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts.
