Cindi, I totally agree that if you cannot give a pet a good home due to a change in circumstances then of course it is kinder to rehome. But to not take into consideration the natural traits and needs of a pet before you purchase is wrong. It is like rehoming a dog because it barks.
I am sorry that talking about this has made you cry, it has me too. I just find it so hard to take when animals are treated like commodities, they have feelings too.
Good for you on taking on rescue animais. It is wonderful that you do so.

Cy has explained that he was messing about when he said he was selling the budgie, he has found it a loving home. I have apologised to him for over reacting.
