The Next Day Thread, Fri 19th June

    Hi Everyone,
Well its raining here and very very windy so I am not going far today, in fact I think I might have another lazy day, as all I have got to do is pop down to the shops to get a few things and then just a general tidy up, I am going to make a lovely beef caserole for tea tonight which means I will have my oven on for about 3 hours which also means that I will have a lovely warm house!!!
Well I hope you all have a fab Friday
    Love ronnie xx

    Hey Ronnie!

I like the idea of a bit of cold weather, it's exceptionally hot and sweaty here at the minute. I'm going into work with Mr Sweats today so I can get my college stuff done - too many distractions at home.

My WA friends are trying to persuade me to make a trip over this month, and I'm tempted, if only for the chance to wear my lovely winter boots Lol!

Enjoy your casserole - I do mine on the bbq now as its just too hot to have the oven on.

      Hi Ronnie and Betty

Gorgeous day here; cool but brilliantly sunny. Won't bore you with details of today's rural challenges.

Betts - are we talking Uggs? Ronnie - hearty casserole on my menu also for tonight.

      Happy POETS day.

        Hi Betts & Tawny
Betts - where abouts are your friends in W.A. - you never know we might be able to meet up!!
Tawny - its now a toss up between casserole or cornish pastie, as I have this urge for pastie!!!!

Hi Tawny - no, my boots are lovely flat black leather knee highs. I get them out just to look at them and wipe the mould off....

Ronnie - I have friends in Rockingam, Subi and Canning Vale - it'd be lovely to meet up but we'd need to think of a good 'how we know each other' story none of them know about MWO! I'm going to enter for the City to Surf on 20th Aug, so will be over then anyway.

Anyhow - enough procrastination - time to get to work. I'm esconced in the conference room at Mr Sweats Office so have no excuses.

            Helloo Everybody,

            So glad it's Friday.

My 2 grandsons and grandaughter are having a sleepover so I will 4 grandkids tonight.

Hubby is having a playdate with his mates so it will just be me and my daughter and the kids. We are having party pies, sausage rolls, and pizza so should be fun.

Daughter is missing her boys so much so she is happy. We are going to celebrate baby grandaughter's birthday again tonight as she will be with her brothers.

We have had lots of rain this part couple of weeks but would you believe that the sun is shining and it's about 17c which for me is lovely weather!

PS I am going to try to post a pic of baby grandaughter today.

Have a great day! And weekend if I don't get back on till Monday.

              Sweaty,
What a gogeous little bat. There was a show on TV on Wednesday night about an orphaned baby flying fox.
Hey, how lucky am I!!! On a whim I just rang Ticketek and was able to organise 2 tickets to Simon and Garfunkel tomorrow night!!! How good is that!! Well, pretty good as long as you like S&G!!

Rags - I love S&G! 'Cecilia' is always on my running playlist - brings back fantabulous memories of a particular boyfriend. Why are they back together, are they skint? - and have a close look at Mr Simons Ears - they are SUCH a strange shape......
