Hey pan, it's good to hear from you, and I'm sorry to hear about your 'slip' Im not sure if you are familiar with AA, but there is a part in the big book that explained to me what happened to me when I was in exactly the same position as yours. The words restless, irritable and discontent and the feelings of having a mental obsession with that first drink. I won't blab on about it here, but will pm you later with my experience if you want?

Pan very happy you came back here! One day is nothing to be so hard on yourself. Think of all the time you have succeeded and remember how good you felt then and how much you want to feel that way again.
You have the same trigger I do. If I know my hubb ie will be out I really need to be conscious about not drinking.

Wow, I'm so impressed you made it 30 days. I can't even imagine that at this point. I made it 4 days, then got drunk the next two nights. Feel like a looser, but know that at least since June 1, my trend has been LESS alcohol and more sobriety than the month previous. I take pride in that; I AM getting better.

Pan--you ARE doing FABULOUS!!! You're NOT an idiot. Please keep trying, because I'm going to!!!
