Arvo all!
What a beautiful day here. Sunny, and 18c. Spent most of it enjoying the soft winter ray's, and quiet of my back yard. Betty and Rags, i'm studying a grad. cert. in telephone counselling. A sort of anonymous men's health line set-up.
Another day off tomorrow to nail this new strain of koala flu. Yay!!!

I saw James Taylor at the Jamberoo folk festival would you believe! It was a long time ago.
AND... AND.... AND... I saw Arlo Guthrie a couple of years ago. He is a great entertainer, and a very funny man. And he didn't sing Alice's Restaraunt.

I tend to go to see stuff that I wouldn't normally do in Singers as I feel that if acts have made the effort to pop into our tiny Island I should make the effort and attend. The audiences tend to be a bit subdued here though. The last think I saw that I really loved was 'We Will Rock You', the Queen musical, even Teen 2 clapped along a bit. The Police were good in Perth. I want to go and see Beyonce in Perth in Sep, but no one will go with me
Rags - I sang the lead in Iolanthe and Pirates of Penzance when I was but a girl, fab memories!
The Oldies are still hanging around, but I'm off for a bit of an escape to Yoga and then the Gym later.
Mr G - I hope your manflu is better soon.
Zen - have you had any sleep??
Ok, have to go and show My Dad AGAIN how to set up Braintraining on the DS......he's determined to get his brain age below 70.........

Happy monday to you too Betty. I tried my first yoga class last tues. night. About 30/40 punter's in the class!...A big scout hall. Will persist though, next week. A more intimate class might be better, but it was a positive experience.

30 - 40! I sometimes like a big class, but the class I'm off to now it will quite often be just moi. You must have had at least one farter in a class that size??? I did a 'fat burning' Yoga DVD on Sat that felt quite easy at the time, but Good Lord was I tender yesterday.

Well, next time i'm wearing long pants instead of short's! Idiot!, but it didn't occur to me. I couldn't hear the teacher too well to know if i was doing things properly, so next time i'll be in the middle.....with pants on!
