Afternoon Zen, Ronnie. Cindy, Rags and Shas - quick check in from me, sorry I can't stay and chat.

About 12C here but sunny. Nepalese beanie and woolly gloves serve me well. Planted 30 oriental liliums, divided and remounted a big old staghorn fern, re-routed grey water and gave the cat a haircut. Can life be more thrilling? But wait! It's only 3pm... things can still get wilder.

Thanks Peoples I am already planning on chucking a sickie tomorrow........well i am going to try but my problem is that I sleep with the boss and he doesn't cut me much slack!

Ronnie....I think we both need to start thinking of ourselves more and treat us as lovingly as we do our kids!

Tawny How do you divide a stag? I have 2 huge ones, they have grown around the wood they were attached to and are now around the truck of the gum tree?

Zen I will be leaving when hubby does today as didn't feel well enough to drive so could be here till about 7pm and then the 2 baby birds, daughter & stepdaughter as well as a mini baby bird (granddaghter) will be sitting there chirping away on the lounge waiting to be fed. I can't really complain as they had fed themselves for the last 2 nights.

Hello All.

Continuing todays theme, Mr Sweats is really p*ssing me off again. He hasn't taken any time off while my Dads been here and now he has too much on at work, he could take Friday off but we've already arranged stuff and I'm not changing for him. He spent all of last night trying to fix a computer issue that could have waited until the helpline opened this morning. He's not doing anything major, just not thinking of anyone else. I bought him a new exercise top yesterday and he said ''it's ok, but did I need one? '' and put it back in the bag, he's getting scarily like his mother. Ok vent over.
The doggy who used to be my avatar went to Doggy Day care today. When we walk them together the Italian Greyhound goes berzerk when he sees another dog, so we thought he should socialise a bit more. Apparently he thinks he's pack leader, and I have to speak to him in a deep voice and step into his space. I'm going to try that with Mr Sweats as well...........
