Gosh, I'm the thread starter again!
Ronnie: Essex... I stayed with friends a couple of times; they lived near Midhurst. Did you know that Arthur Conan Doyle was apprentice pharmacist in the Midhurst Pharmacy?
Tawny: You'r shearing the cat when the cold part of winter is about to hit?
Zen and Going: The sheep are frisky and excited because their wool is going to be dyed funky colours and get made into Icebreaker thermals to keep us warm!

Well, yesterday arvo turned out different for me. Grabbed a sandwich before going to Sydney, and got a bit caught in my tooth that's been playing up a bit. Well, the gum sorta exploded and bled and bled. So it was emergency visit to the most wonderful dentist who after tending to my problem, promised to come home and look after me and bring me coffee in bed this morning. And he did! So I never got to Sydney yesterday. Will go next week.

Going: 'Course you can come to India, but I'm going to Sri Lanka first. And I found out 2 days ago I need a visa for Nepal as well. So looks like my Icebreakers will see Nepal. They've already adorned my body here, NZ and Japan.

You know, you folks are SO exotic to me its hard to talk to you straight out! I just LUV the way everything comes out, but it scares the hell out of me trying to visit your part of the world, once I build up the strength!

OMG Rags, you're going to die when you get the dentist's bill!

Essex - stayed in a really posh hotel in Brentwood. It used to be one of Henry VIII hunting lodges.

I'm shearing the cat because he grows a huge amount of fur during winter and it turns into dread lumps (not locks). Not a good look.

Apart from that - it's a misty, moisty morning. We shall see how the day unravels.

You really shear your cat?

I have one that is nothing but this giant fur ball and he won't let us comb him. Even when we do comb him, he still sheds like crazy.

We call him sumo cat because he is so big. I can't pick him up well with my broken arm.

I might call the groomer and see if they would do it, though...

Just a quickie before I drop the kids off at school
Tawney - I use to live near Brentwood - very nice place

Rags - I have never heard of Midhurst, where is that near? and one asumes that your partner is a dentist!!!!! if not, I must say girl you are very forward!!!:H

Ruby - why would you be scared to come here - we dont bit....much :H

Well I think hubby is trying to make some sort of effort with me & the kids but he has a long way to go still!!!
Mind you I say that and all of last night he sat on the computer in the office so I did'nt really see him (which suited me).
But I am turning the tables a little bit as it is me that cant be bothered to talk to him for a change, I think a few more days like this and he might see that I am no push-over!!!
But apart from that I am in quite a good mood (for a change)

Please don't be offended if no-one is around to "chat" - It's 8.30am in Ronnie's part of Oz, 10.30am in mine and a lot of the others would be at work now.

Cinders - Icebreakers = thermal underwear
Arvo = afternoon
And no, I don't shear the cat but I do a rather heavy hair reduction on him.

OK - it's hit 10C (50F) and I'm about to brave the cold outside.
