    It's a sunny Sunday. I'm off out with the kids. I'm happy to be free of the urge to drink when I wake. I'm free to do what I want today. A good space to be in. Shout it out loud Mr T!

        I was sober yesterday and i plan to be today. Keeping busy today with the garden, reading and tv. Might go for a walk later id i'm up to it.

                  Had a great day so far. Been up and out this morning at 8 to a few car boot sales then to a farm/garden centre where I spent a good hour sat in a courtyard eating ice cream with a good friend talking about the simple things in life....like sitting in a beautiful old courtyard on a Sunday afternoon eating ice cream without a care in the world!!.

                  155 days and loving it!

                      174 days since I last drank. that's 24 sober weekends that I have enjoyed and not endured.
                      I saw my grandkids earlier and their smiles lit up my day, which was pretty bright to begin with.
                      Things are really starting to gel and although not perfect, my life has a meaning again.

                        yep a nice cloudy day in fl and i just woke up ready to start and do something just dont know what yet ..
                        my son and i stay up till 1am was nice he was playing his guitar and then online chatting his friends..
                        well cacky and everyone wishing you all the best of life enjoy your day its only just begun ..

                          It has been a year and a little over a month for me.Enjoyed going to a baseball game last night and having no desire to drink.What a difference a year makes!
