Because that is the crux of alcoholism/addiction. Our brain has begun to think of the substance and its effect as necessary, even though the higher thinking part of our brain knows better.

It is a difficult nut to crack but it can be done.

Yep, just going to have some lunch , a nana nap and try and sort this freezer out (it packed up yesterday). If I get fed up doing that I will take the dogs out

That happened to me this morning Tip, I was in the hospital and reading the thread about Oneys mouse, I burst out laughing and everyone stared. dont think you are meant to laugh in a hospital :-)
