Have you been sober a month today KT?

Thats great Tip, good food will really help your bod recover from the abuse.

I love reading success stories, it proves this can be done especially when we think it cant

I joined in with the guys trying for an AF June and found it a big help, some really nice people there. Not like some of the nasties I could mention in the barmy army

            Thats lovely Oney.

Yes KT, you are a very much treasured addition to the Army.
I am delighted you are doing so well and that you are here keeping all of our spirits up and in line when necessary.
One month is a terrific achievement. It gets better and better.
In my experience, the highs are higher and lows are nowhere near as low as when we were drinking.
Well done my friend :l xx

                  Right, this is ridiculous.
I am sitting here with one yellow rubber glove on, not fetish but halfway through housework

As long as its a rubber glove, and not a boxing one :-)

I know about this palce being addicitive - I've been avoiding work all morning, and now typing beteween mouthfuls of a lovely beef stew.
                      I'll do whatever it takes

It's almost noon over here - but, to quote Poohbear: I have a rumbly in my tumbly. Since tapering my AL intake, my appetite is recovering!

KTAB - it is just so good to read some of the success stories, it gives people like me more hope and motivation.
Tip I honestly would have said absolutley No Chance of staying off AL for a week before I came here. Some people here give so much of themselves and have helped me enormously. I hope you gain some small motivation from this, it really can be done. And seeing as you are obviously such a bouncy tigger it is only a matter of time.

Thanks KTAB - it's a HUGE motivation for me.

I posted on another thread this morning, and basically tried to convey the same message.

Even though I'm yet to have an AF day, my life today compared to less than a month ago is totally different.
