Hi Everyone!

Still here!

The world stopped whilst my daughter in Oz had a c-section. I spent all night awake and did not think of drinking, I was ready for the phone call to say that my grandson had come into the world.

Didn't make the whole month sober but made good progess, once I got onto the sober run I was ok, struggling like mad at the beginning of the month but now much better, thanks to everyone and I would like to continue into next month.:thanks:

Thanks Bridget and Brett, it has been fun and it has been heartening to see so many make it. This has been a great thread and a fabulous group to run along side.

Just as my clock is about to turn over to August, I am ready to make a good run for the next sober month.

I hope we have an August thread to jump on to.

I'll check for it in the morning.
