      Opal, he is a rescue dog who has been abused and trusts no one except us, if he was in the vets they would need to keep him sedated 24/7 in order to handle him. I cant put him thru that.

        Opal, the mad thing is (and I am a heavy smoker)

        That the smokes will kill you quicker than the booze, by a mile.. (unless you are pissed all day every day for 10 years)

        Cigarettes don't ruin your life though, so it seem OK in comparison..

            Hey Wavey :-)

            I think its a last resort for him to be kept in, they would never get his muzzle off.
            Not sure how old he is, maybe 12 ish? But not sure really, we have had him 7 years.

              I haven't read all the threads..What is the matter? I know He's on Diazepam...Some sort of ligament/arthritis problem?

                    He has hip dysplacia and arthritis but thats not what troubling him today.
                    Last night he started vomiting and gulping, he continued to do it all night, so today took him to the vets who say it might be gastritis. Hes has a really high temp and is in lots of pain poor bugger.
