Is it higher level thinking if I stand on a chair?? I don't iron anything. My cleaner does it.

Am off out for a last hurrah with the oldies before they leave on Monday. They're getting showered and changed into yet more new holiday clothes as I speak. Is the new holiday clothes and a change for day and night just a UK thing? I will miss them, but I've been really shocked by how my Dad's aged this time, not so much physically, but in his general attitude. He's turning into a stereotypical British pensioner - yet his Mum (who is 90), is fantastic, says exactly what she thinks, but doesn't moan and complain. Maybe its just a phase - like pre-retirement crisis??

I got half of the assignment done and then my thinking plummeted to the depths so I had to stop.

Christ it felt weird though. I selected the biggest wine glass (naturally) and swang it nonchalantly from my elegantly extended hand..................full of lemonade.........didn't put it down much, and took it with me from place to place..........ring any bells anyone ???????????

Hello Long Road.

Just back from my last major social occasion with our visitors. Tapas at 'Jones the Grocer' who claim to be an Aussie institution?

Anyhoo, much fun had by all, not too much alcohol, and a plan for Yorkshire Puds tomorrow.

We're just debating whether or not we can afford a hol in the UK, my mini apparently needs a major part - an 'electronic throttle body'??? So will decide once we have a price for that.......
