    Yes the maid thing is weird. In LA it's OK 2 have a Mexican maid & gardener as long as your wife is learning Spanish. So pathetic.I always tell them to fuck the employers and go underground. Of course I had the chance 2 get a green card and then citizenship (Aussie & US Nov 2007). But then again I've got blonde hair and green eyes. And money. And contacts

      Louise: I don't really have contact with him, except via my mom as his co-dependent... He has half-heartedly tried, but he's far gone now. Ever since my brother's death, it's been downhill. They were on bad terms before my brother passed - he had written my dad a letter spelling out what was wrong and how it needed to be fixed. Net result: he alienated his two remainig sons in the process...

      Oi, LR: don't hijack my thread :-) I used to be even more colonial - had a live-in male housekeeper until about a year ago. I used to text him from the bedroom for morning coffee. If tiggers can blush, I'm blushing now...
