BUGGER....she beat me.
I ALMOST set the alarm for 4am to catch the party.......but then I thought.....Nah.....
I am JUMPING OUT OF MY SKIN this morning.....went to yet another 'dangerous' do last night with drinker mates, and passed with flying colours......who IS this girl ?????passing up voddy and a laugh to feel right the next day ????? (well I still got the laugh...'tis possible)
Decided I'm having a bludge today....last day before school hols.....

Well done Bridget for last night, it feels so good dos'nt it to be able to go our and stay sober and STILL has a laugh
I thought it was impossilble to do untill yesterday arvo when I had some friends over, I enjoyed myself more sober than I would off if i had been drinking

Hi all
Day 8 for me - but only 3 days drinking out of the past 41, so am encouraged that there's change-a-happening. Abstinence is the goal - for me, moderation has never worked. Feeling down over this side of the country so making myself do some sobriety check-ins. And like you Bridget I'm highly conscious of things to do on the last day of term!

Well done Bridge! Yep, a good time can be had sober! For me, once i got over the anxiety, and just relaxed, chilled, went with the flow, and let my mojo surface, things are grand. A question for you and Ronnie. Do you catch yourselves in the mirror when socialising af, and think....'Feck, who is that switched on person'? I have, and am always surprised i'm not seeing the bleary eyed, red faced, puffed up goose i've been used to. I still see a goose, but a handsome, sharp, af one.
Well done Ronnie on 10 days, and also cool for you, on the realisation that for you, modding doesn't work. Vegie soup on the go, and it's the feckin' weekend!...yay!
