Thanks Waves. That's been suggested. I might have a go at one of those surfing classes at sorrento? or torquay is it? That's probably more my pace for now. I found this board in the back lane a few years ago....Is it for a more experienced surfer, or just not right for my height?

I know they have surf classes at Torquay...If you've never surfed, it's a great idea..

Ronnie, that's really good to hear. Yep, i do know what you mean. It's kind of freeing for me. No more chains. We are free! And i've found that it can be a bit overwhelming. Sometimes i'll be driving along, or something, then shed a little tear out of nowhere. It's a tear of real happiness. Incredible.

Waves, yep, Torqhay sounds good. I'm fine in the ocean, but haven't really surfed properly, so i'm gonna hire an 8 ft. softie, in summer, and go for it! Betty, we are even more bouyant in salt water, you know.......
