I worked in a spiritualist church in Salem Mass.
I have to say the witches where alittle scary to me (passed life, don't ask). Even the police cars had witches on them.
I went into the "official Witches" (how do you get to be an official witch?) shop and she had all these CHARMS to protect her ???
I asked her about them and she said since she had them...no one has thrown any more bricks thru her window...........Proves they work to me...LOL:H :H :H

Ruby, I so agree with that sentiment! LTG, are you back after awhile? I have always enjoyed your posts.
Lucky, sounds like such a mess! I wonder, what do the pensioners do if they are elderly and have counted on that money? I hope California can get out of the big mess it is in - to me it has always seemed like a dream place to live.

Good question Lila but I don't believe those drawing pensions are getting the IOU's- just businesses and you the tax payer if you are getting a refund! It is really jacked up!

And if you are a state worker and get in an accident, somehow that gives you additional benefits for being hurt on the job, so workers frequently get injured right before retirement. It is so intentional. Even the Director of the CHP (CA Highway Patrol) did it so it happens @ all levels.

Forgot to mention they are closing parks. And summer school programs were canceled and fewer school buses will be running in the fall. And thousands of State owned vehicles are missing! How do vehicles GO MISSING with today's technology? These assets can be tracked if the State invested in technology- but there is no money. And the Union (gag) has the stance vehicles (assets) cannot be tracked because therefore a worker would be tracked and that is against union policy. Give me a friggin' break? Don't you want your workers tracked that are transporting prisoners so if they highjack the bus, you can find your driver for SAFETY reasons? Or what about health care workers that are in the field going to the homes of ex-convicts, or abusers, or rapists? Wouldn't it be wise to be able to determine where they are if they go missing? Or if a State owned vehicle should not leave the State of CA but shows up in Reno, NV @ a casino on State of CA time? Happens all the time.

we're all good - you know, summer.Today will be rainy, maybe we will stay in and do art projects. My son planted a raspberry bush for me yesterday - I hear they grow like weeds.
I am getting more focused, I think, you know what I mean?
