Mate, sounds like a nightmare but it isn't up to you, in any other way than supporting the best you can..(Bollocks!)

(I'd be physically dragging the whole bunch of them home and punching the Boyfriend, but then I am Australian and tactless)
I've thought about it....but she's not a kid any more. She'll learn soon enough.

She's 25. She's been in the psychiatric ward here a couple of times after taking overdoses when she ws younger. I have to be careful. She knows how to play it.

Drink's the last thing on my mind. A while ago' I'd have took a sicky and go plastered, but those days are gone. I'm OK. Just worried.

Maybe it's a Family thing with me...I'm 40 years old and still sacred of my Old Man..

I also love him to bits (I'm really lucky in being very good mates with my parents)

I've tried that. It just sends her away with threats of not seeing her or the kids again. The BF's got her head turned. He comes across all nice and smart...Smarmy I'd call it. You know the type. He's 33. My son's got his eye on him to, and he's not half as 'diplomatic' as I am.

She really needs to get her act together if social services are getting involved. The boyfriend sounds like a waste of space and they obvoiusly re-enforce to each other that their behavour is fine. Dont get me started on smoking while pregnant.
                    You nailed it there KT.

Grim, I think smoking is harder to kick than drinking, dont lose heart my friend.

Opes, Irish, more workouts for you? A day of rest for me here I think....
