Erm....well....there are bits of scalp coming off where I put the turps on.....but apart from that.......:H:H:H
My cousin came over and helped me pick it out of the bits I couldn't reach or see....probably lucky I'm not bald at this stage of the game.......
The 48 hour mark is really difficult Dave....do what you've got to do to distract yourself....why don't you take a look at Oney's list of 'other things to do but drink'...
For example, I decided to 'paint a room'.
There's 48 hours and a few chunks of scalp I'll NEVER get back.

All the fiddly stuff done now. I just want the boy's room and mine done while he's on hols, so no disruption during term.
Have you needed much Valium so far ?

Started Yesterday of with 10mgs, Today 7.5mgs (spread over the afternoon/night)

My dosage will only be decreasing and I'll be off them in a week...I'm not silly, one addiction is enough!

I think I'm starting to self harm though...I just almost cut my lip off while having a shave and now have toilet paper stuck on my face :-)

Evening/Arvo/Morning, Bridge, Waves, and all to come.
Took my mum to look at some furniture today, which was cool, but upon our return to her place, she'd lost her keys somewhere, and couldn't get in. I was feckin fuming, on the inside, but quickly remembering, that this beautiful woman brought me into the world, etc. 3 hours later, we got door open. Here i stand. A still fuming, but grateful son.

I feel amazing. It's ALL worth it BUT....there are ups and downs in mood that you have to learn to deal with again without gettng rat-arsed. Booze just isn't in the toolbox any more. That's hard to get used to.
