    Father Knows Best..

My dad has been AF for almost 10 year now and doing an excellent job. He takes no medication for his disease and quit "cold turkey". So, I decided to call him today and ask what should I drink for these awful withdrawls that make me sick to my stomach, he simply said to drink lots of water and when you get sick of that, try cola such as pepsi, coke, etc.. and stay away from sprite, mt. dew, etc.. It worked for me.. I thought I would share.. Now, we have to work on his smoking habit, :upset:

    Hi Savannah,

I am glad to hear that you are drinking lots of water. It's the best thing to do. I hear you on the smoking too. It's really starting to bother me and I must quit too. We can do this!

Oops, I misunderstood. You said his, not this. Yes, Thank God you never picked up that habit. It's evil (well, what it does to health) and I sure wish I could quit.

There is always www.quitnet.com and other sites to help your dad quit smoiking.
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
