I did only work 6 hours Today and have a half day Tomorrow though, then off to see Harry Potter with some friends :-)

good morning all,i figured id join in,for a while,congrats on your new found sobriety,anything over 24 hours is a bonus,and yes i dont no who said it but when you get past the 4th day,you seem to catch a new light of things around you,the challenge is keeping it,as far as the stain,should ofleft the old carpet in tll they grew up,kids are kids,in centuries tht hasnt changed,i remember as a child making many mistakes,but one i made was not,my parents were great people,we were going out one night and my father was working the day shift,i happen to nottice when they would go out they mt induldge to much,get drunk,i happen to say that and my sister said i said they were gonna get drunk,my dad thrashed me [spanked] when he came home from work cause i made mom cry,i beleive now she was crying cause i seen there was a prroblem,i used that as an excuse for my drinking fOr years,again b4 your hubby gets ANGRY YELLING CAN BRING ON a massive heart attackS ,hope it helps im rAMBLING GYCO

I get what you say about blaming anybody but yourself regarding drink...
I woulda blamed the lion the witch and the feckin wardrobe before i would've took on board that it was my doings,

Just on day 5 but feeling optimistic and positive...this time..

Anyway,hope i've caught my new light of things and thanks again for sharing
