Well, yesterday was a pretty horrible day for a number of us with negative posts flying around. I was actually surprised at how much it affected me. I was equally surprised at my reaction to all of it too. In the past, I would no doubt have entered the fray, said things I may have regretted, had way too much to drink and ended up full of regret, shame and a huge hangover to cap things off.
Well, obviously I have moved on a lot in all sorts of ways. Yes, I felt dreadful, but instead of trying to change how I felt I dealt with it. I even picked up the phone to call a friend and talk about it. That would never have happened before.
My sobriety is precious, I am becoming a better person because of it.

Well it seems I must have missed the negativity yesterday, either not tuned into it or tuned in too late. Either way I am glad I did not see it....

Good on you for dealing with in the way that you did! You are quite right, your sobreity is of paramount importance and very precious!

Hi Everyone
Had a good day today, all sleep over friends have now gone home HOORAY
Kids back to school tomorrow HOORAY
Got loads of paperwork done for my T-Ball (rounders to you lot) meeting tomorrow HOORAY
Kids will go to bed early tonight HOORAY
Doing a quick and easy dinner tonight HOORAY

So really I am having a HOORAY day today

Good morning guys, yesterday is the past now, lets nots waste any more valuable time on it.
I reckon we should make it officially Happy Monday today. So as Ronnie puts it 'HOORAY'
Got tons of boring stuff to get through today but I plan on doing it while whistling a happy tune. I have problems just like everyone else but you know what?, its good to be alive, healthy and sober and that is worth celebrating. Keep your sunny sides up good people

Hi Army friends. I know I am strange but I love Mondays. In my mind, Monday is a new beginning. Not sure why I feel that way but I do and so I'll just run with it.

Happy to see everyone upbeat today.

I, too, am handling things so much differently sober. It makes me feel good about myself.
