Iirene, I have a job like that! There are times that I just have to tell myself "I am grateful in these days even to have a job"?! I am up at this ungodly hour, husband didn't come home, (if you want to call him that!?) Cannot leave, cannot stay, but have to for the kids and don't have the $ to be on my own, or maybe I do, just a cop-out?? I hate this, sorry to grip, just no other threads active.

BUT Det, Tahoe sounds great, any jobs there!?:l:h

We should start a calendar/list of ideas, have plans for maybe 2 a year, stateside so everyone gets a chance to attend one closest. Hope I see you soon MA. I've had women at the cabin with their kids several times when they're hiding/running/thinking/deciding/etc. about their situation with their husbands. No one finds us there, and if they do, bad move to drop in for a visit! LOL Maybe you'll have a minute or two to think. Look forward to meeting the kids! So does the Mighty Berit!

Betty good to see you!! (great on joining the gym, :goodjob:it is MY savior)Sorry I have been in my own miserable world, did see you post, but short term memory is shot, hopefully (have heard from many in AA) it comes back, just noticing it more lately (being sober will do that to ya!)

Ruby, yep, I am totally looking forward to the trip, the drive at least will give me time to think, being in nature at the cabin will give me serenity, at your place sounds wonderful.............will be a nice short break on the way home.

Got back from the gym and going to "see" the horses, nobody to ride with, it is hot, not rainy, will just drive up and brush them, drive all the way back, then dinner and poop out I am sure...........

MA, thanks to TLRGs. He is my guru, and even when he's down, I get strength from his quiet resolve. I too am happy he started this thread, and I'll do everything I can to keep it going when I'm here. We've talked to so many people we don't normally see, and that's wonderful! You don't have to be part of any "In Crowd" to post on these boards. EVERYONE is welcome. Nothing is silly. Nothing is disresprected. This is where you can be anonymous and ask those things that keep you awake at night. I don't, I know T doesn't, and I pray no one else does, judge anyone who posts on here, for any reason. We all want the same thing, ultimately, whether we're rich or poor. So, come one, come all, lets make this place work!!!

If any of you have heard my in-law stories (in my back yard) this is a new one!! For 2 weeks they've been inviting us to dinner, tonight , 5:30. I planned my whole day around it. Decided I'd nap at 3, shower at 4, be fresh and lovely for the...event. Hubs step-brother came early. They decided to have dinner at 4:00. I lovingley told Hubs to go ahead, give my (fucking) regrets, and say I'd be by later to chat. THIS is what I have to deal with each day. I'm not even going into how rude it is, 'cause they wouldn't understand. SHOOT MEEEEEE!
