my own home detox consisted of diazapram (valium) coming here,,getting outside, substituting activities for one arm curls.
I am trying moderation. I have so far moderate success. I am, however much more in control of myself than I was when I first came here.

Don't really know what this page is about....felt magic floating about..
I have waded into many a mountain stream & sat beside her on rocks,imagining the wind, water and song washing me clean.

Oh, most definitely about the 'drinking' stuff not to be posted on facebook! Yikes! Your secret is safe with me, facebook-friend.

I think a home detox sounds good! I wish they had those when I went to detox many moons ago. I may have had more success after leaving there.

BB...yes FB is our personal lives...family and friends many don't even know about MWO. All of you that are on there from here with me...I would enver mention it as i know you all would not either. It is nice to share our families there.

Hi Betty,
I did a home de-tox 3 weeks ago tomorrow. and I'm now 22 days AF. The first few days will be spent in a bit of daze. You sound as if you've got an enlightened GP. Thank goodness I have. He was the one to point me to this site. I'm finding a new freedom.
Don't give up on giving up.

Hi all, my doctors appointment went really well .......... The excellent news is that I am starting a 7 day home detox, the not so good news is that it can't start till monday due to the relevant medical staff being available .......... So my plan is strict mods, then my last ever alcoholic drink on sunday evening with my dinner ...........xxx
