Rhonda Lenair and alcoholism - be introduced to her and her work
Thanks Greenie, Cinders, and all! Good stuff... Yes, great job at bringing things back around to the original intent. Like all healing modalities, there are varying rates of failure and success. Thankfully, for some here... Lenair has been a success! I am one. As I have mentioned in previous posts, for me, Lenair resonated and pulled at me, from a deep level that I didn't quite understand, and still don't, really. It reminds me of a saying of Helen Kellers that goes something like, "Some things of beauty we see with our eyes or hear with our ears, others we simply know because we feel them in our hearts." That is what I felt, when I read about Lenair. If those of you who have read about Rhonda Lenair's work, have that feeling, and want to hear more, I would say that you have nothing to loose by listening. Sending love and support. Just for the record:
I'm not being compensated for this in any way.
People have had questions about this since it first showed up here. This is an simply an opportunity to ask your questions and hear responses from Rhonda rather than those of us who attended, successfully or not. This isn't about deciding to go or not. It just seems a little early for that..Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

So... if one is interested, please e-mail me at LSS609@live.com and I'll add you to the list.
(Their excuse, by the way, to me and at least 1 other "failure" on these boards, was that my issues were far greater than the alcohol problem. I certainly didn't have to pay thousands of dollars to find that out!)
I'd also like to hear about where they get their statistics from. I'm certain they claimed something like a 95% success rate -- I recall this well, because I worried "what if I'm in the 5% of failures?" and I even remember joking about that with Cindi (as it turns out, we both were apparently among that small failure group).
As for the 60,000 successes (or however many they are now claiming) -- I'd like to find out how they know these people all were cured... do they follow them up for years? How about all the people who relapse after the 60-day guarantee period... can you call someone cured if they start drinking again after a couple months, or years, for that matter? It seems to me it would be impossible to make any claims about how many people have been cured if you don't have any follow up. For rehab programs, all claims of recovery rates are generally not considered of any significance if they don't follow-up on patients' recovery/relapse rates for 5 years.
But besides wanting some clarification on the proof in the pudding, I'm also very interested in what insight the Lenairs can or are willing to share about the so-called "method". As I've previously said, there is no question in my mind that Rhonda has some special gift or skill (I have experienced this first-hand -- she absolutely does somehow connect to you at a deep level -- there is no way she could "know" what she did about me-- she even mentioned some specific incidences from my childhood that I had forgotten!). I just hope the Lenairs will attempt to explain it in a way that most people can understand, or at least grasp. If you read their literature you will probably be more confused than before you read it. To me it sounds like a bunch words and ideas strung together to purposely confuse the reader... it partly implies that they don't know how it works, and then in other places, a bunch of vague scientific-sounding concepts are bandied about that only serve to obscure the picture. As a person with a masters degree in linguistics and 2 years of study about alternative healing, I'm not easily confused by words or alternative healing concepts, so I have to assume there are a lot of others for whom their written explanations are confusing, at best.
Please don't get me wrong on this, I am sincerely interested in hearing more about this.Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Rhonda Lenair and alcoholism - be introduced to her and her work
I've just read this entire thread with a great deal of interest. I love the humor and open mindedness and sharing here. And of course I love that my friend Greenie is AF after such struggles.
I could just add that I studied Oriental Medicine for a few years in NYC and my teacher could meet someone and tell them they fell out of a tree when they were four years old and that is the cause of some of their problems. That was within one minute of meeting them. I have seen her do things like that over and over again. She knew I was pregnant before I did. I hadn't even seen her and she called me up to congratulate me on my pregnancy and I told her she was crazy - but it turned out she was right. A lot of this is careful training for many years. She is my friend. We have fun together. She is not someone magical and doesn't claim to be. She has just trained and studied hard and developed these diagnostic powers over many years.
I really don't think Rhonda is some magical being. I think she is quite skilled in what she does. I really hate for someone to pass themselves off as some super powerful magical healer. Others have learned these skills also and don't charge an arm and a leg for their services. That's what bugs me about Rhonda.
I have never spoken up on this before and hope I don't offend anyone. I don't mean to. I am very happy that she has helped some of my friends here. I wish all of you good sober days ahead.Rest in Peace, Bear. We miss you.

I have researched various types of treatment and found it to be astounding the range of prices for similar "professed" results for the same "named" treatment. One would think rehab is rehab, right? The prices can vary greatly. One in particular comes to mind. Passages Malibu is a 30 day rehab program whose rate is in excess of $77,000.00 for the one month stay. Whew!!! I justified the fact that my fee to attend Lenair was less than what I spent on my "in home" alcohol consumption for one year. (I was a drink at home person) Plus, we had a lovely week away in Vermont. So, if nothing else, I would have had a great week away at a B&B with the Hub. Have a listen, if you have questions, send them to Greenie at LSS609@live.com This is the perfect time to get these questions answered.

Me too, Best! The price of a year of booze. Aren't you just curious? If the price niggles you, listen in to understand what it is she does and then shop around if you're interested in the treatment. Hell, sign up for her courses and learn to do it to yourself!
Hey, wanna hear about the Lenair Self Healing Method straight from Rhonda? Ask her your questions? Let me know and you're in! Aug 11, 7:30 EST for an hour.

I was curious about the number of people that were quoted earlier in this thread, that Rhonda has helped. It didn't seem to be quite what I remembered, so I checked out the web site. The web site states that she has helped 30,000 individuals. When I calculate the number of years that she has been practicing, this makes more sense. I just wanted to clarify. Hugs to all! Just a thought I had about this whole Lenair thing. Could it be that some people are just and psychologically "ready" to quit when they go to Lenair, and because they have invested such a large amount of cash into it, choose to believe that it has helped them more than it really has?
Greeneyes, you say she mentioned "your husband" being a source of your troubles when you visited her. Well, anyone with half a brain could have guessed that. How much of it is real, and how much of it is "you WANTING TO BELIEVE".
Sounds really expensive with really unproven results, and zero follow up. How many of you who have been therre have received a follow up call?
